Distant Peaks (2026) Original Oil Painting by Cat Goward

Distant Peaks is a contemporary landscape painting inspired by the vast silhouettes of the Himalayas at dusk.

Layers of distant mountains gradually disappear into the horizon, while vivid pinks and deep blues capture the fleeting colours between daylight and night. The minimalist composition evokes the sense of stillness and scale found high in the mountains, where each ridge fades into the next.

Painted in oils on canvas, Distant Peaks brings the atmosphere and tranquillity of the Himalayas into the home.
