Diaphaneity XIII (2025) Original Sculpture by Tracy Nicholls

Diaphaneity XIII is a unique kiln formed glass sculpture comprising of two opaque black glass panels which hangs on the wall. It can hang either horizontally or vertically.

The delicate lace like centre appears to disintegrate as holes form and puncture the once solid panels of opaque black glass, leaving the remaining glossy edge. The strands of these glass webs undulate gently, creating movement and depth while light dances through the apertures to cast shadows onto surrounding surfaces.

A calm and contemplative piece that would make a delightful addition to any space.
