Words and feelings.
I love this quiet time in the year and Winter time can be just as beautiful in nature. My inspiration for this painting was on the Wardour estate in Wiltshire.
Original expressive watercolour on Bockingford 300gsm 140lb cold pressed. I used graduated washes and then tipped the paper to create the feathering and lots of dragging the paint for the foreground over damp paper. I enjoy working expressively like this and to create different effects in my artworks.
I particularly love using Chinese brushes.
