Dances by the Gramophone (2018) Original Oil Painting by Наталья Луговская

In this surreal composition, an old gramophone bridges the worlds of memory and imagination. Instead of musical notes, butterflies rise from the spinning record, carrying melodies into the air like fragments of forgotten summer days.
The contrast between the vintage mechanism and the fragile wings creates a dialogue between time and transformation, permanence and fleeting beauty. The gramophone preserves the music of the past, while the butterflies embody freedom, change, and the ephemeral nature of every precious moment.
