Original artwork description:

The classic and well known view of the Cuillin mountains on the Isle of Skye.
This is an acrylic painting painting which portrays the the mountains and loch Scavaig at dusk a little before nightfall.
I could have painted a million different versions of this scene as the weather and light changes constantly by the minute.
This painting was completed in my studio from a couple of sketches and a few photographs taken at the time between rain showers.
I have introduced some texture into the foreground to help convey the ruggedness of the area.
Finally I gave the painting a coat of matt varnish to protect it.
This painting is framed and ready to hang.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint with some texture medium
