Statement piece!

Lovely tranquil seascape painting to provide beauty to your home. This painting celebrates the skyline from a Cornish beach and has been inspired by many visits to Cornwall, painting on the beach, heady summer days.

I have spent many hours painting on the beach, absorbing sight and sound of the sea; immersing myself in the environment, getting to know the landscape, the colours. Sketching and plein air painting are an essential part of my process.

The painting was made in my studio and uses artists quality oil on hand built canvas 24"x 24". It is a palette knife painting in my typical impasto style (i.e. you will see the texture of the paintwork).
It comes varnished and is mounted in a white wood floater frame fitted with eyes and cord so is ready to hang.
