This painting was started at the end of last winter. I always quite liked it but it wasn't quite right, so worked on it again last week and finally I think it's finished. I started the painting at an art demonstration at The Exeter Art Society and have since worked further on it at home. I've used a scraper to put on paint in layers to create the trees and reflections. The edges are painted grey. It could be ready to hang or would look great in a wood tray frame.

Materials used:

Oils, cold wax, linseed oil on canvas
