Come To Me (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Stephen Beer

I was challenged to produce a piece of work featuring a spider web, and using the phrase "she whispers" as inspiration. I instantly thought of comic book style speech bubbles and the phrase a spider would use to seduce its prey, "Come To Me". Roy Lichtenstein is one of the masters of reproducing comic book style artwork and I emulated that half tone printing method that he also loved.
