Original artwork description
In "Colpo di sole", Antonino Puliafico explores colour, rhythm and material gesture in an original oil painting on canvas. Measuring 115 × 95 cm and dated 2024, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.
The painting develops through palette knife, allowing the physical texture of the paint to remain central to the image.
In the serene light of my studio, I've captured the vibrant and powerful essence of nature. Each stroke of the spatula on the canvas unveils a unique landscape where sky and earth merge in an eternal dance.
Its scale, colour and material energy give the painting a distinctive presence while preserving the spontaneity of Puliafico’s gestural language.
The artwork is professionally protected for tracked shipping and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
Materials used:
First-rate oil colors of the Florentine brand "DI VOLO" applied with spatula were used for the painting, and the pictorial support is a cottono canvas pre-painted for oil painting with Gesso and Glue.
