Chinese oddity - In 'Chinese oddity' I left my imagination free to inspire creativity. I started the artwork painting a beautiful mushroom I found in the woods near my hometown and let imagination suggests all the elements of the painting. I put great attention on details and studied Japanese 18th centuries printmaking to give the background a true 'far eastern' touch (including the colour I used, which is blue cobalt as in Chinese pottery).
