Chamomiles and the Pink (2026) Original Oil Painting by Suren Nersisyan

A lush bouquet of chamomiles fills the composition with expressive, textured brushstrokes and a sense of spontaneous movement. Layers of white, yellow, green and violet are set against a vibrant pink background, creating a strong contrast between the delicate flowers and the saturated surrounding color.
Rather than describing the bouquet literally, the painting focuses on rhythm, color and texture. Thick, energetic strokes give the flowers a lively, almost abstract quality, while the dark glass vase anchors the composition and reflects fragments of surrounding color.
The artwork is painted on oil-primed canvas, stretched on wooden bars and wired from the back for easy display.
