Original artwork description
This is a very small hand painted collage depicting a couple of chaffinches. The piece has been created firstly by making a collage of paper onto card, which I have then primed and painted onto using oils. I have also deliberately added gold paper, decorative origami papers featuring gold patterns and added gold paint to give this little piece a decorative feel. I have then mounted the card onto a standard stretched canvas, making this piece easy to hang.
