The irreversible shift from maidenhood to womanhood/motherhood involves profound bodily changes, symbolized in this piece through the hand—an extension of touch, care, and transformation.
The lacquered surface conveys both fragility and strength, while the hand itself becomes a metaphor for the changes a woman experiences. This artwork serves as a reminder of the inner evolution of motherhood, often overlooked by society.
