Painted on-site at Cave Point Park in Door County, WI, with additional finishing work in studio. Features a shoreline scene of limestone bluffs topped with Cedar trees and softly rolling waves. Painted in oil on canvas with both brush and palette knife. Palette knife has been used to define the rocks with thicker texture, and to add accents to the waves. The waves feature a variety of shades of blue, green, and a touch of purple, with highlights of iridescent pearl white. The yellow and rust colors in the water near the shore indicate rocks just below the water's surface. A light blue sky with a faint hint of rose gives a peaceful feel to the scene.
Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with decorative moulding, a gold finish, and a dark brown inner edge.
