I painted this from the memory of a quiet trail where the redwoods rise like ancient sentinels and the path itself feels like an invitation. The trunks blaze with rich sienna and copper, while soft mist weaves through the background, whispering calm, hush, and return.

Every leaf and petal is sculpted with my knife, bold, impasto texture that feels alive under light. The cool greens and violets at the forest floor offer a grounded contrast to the upright flame of the trees.
