Campfires are always a source of warmth and social gathering. This one was built in the early evening at a rented house in Woodstock, NY while on vacation with my family in summer 2018. I enjoy the liberty I can take when painting fire and the challenge of conveying the mood and glow that accompanies a roaring blaze.
