Calma Azzurra (2024) Original Oil Painting by Antonino Puliafico

Antonino Puliafico’s "Calma Azzurra" is an original oil painting on canvas in which flowers and botanical forms are reinterpreted through a contemporary, tactile language. Measuring 95 × 111 cm and dated 2025, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.

Through palette knife, Puliafico lets colour accumulate, break apart and reconnect across a visibly worked surface. A blue palette contributes to the work’s chromatic rhythm.

Antonino Puliafico’s "Blue Serenity" is a breathtaking representation of tranquil waters bathed in soft, luminous light. This painting combines vivid, textured strokes with a harmonious blend of pastel tones, capturing the calm beauty of nature in a moment of stillness.

The work balances immediacy and detail, offering both a strong visual impact in the room and a richly textured surface for close viewing.

The artwork is professionally protected for tracked shipping and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Materials used:

First-rate oil colors of the Florentine brand "DI VOLO" applied with spatula were used for the painting, and the pictorial support is a cottono canvas pre-painted for oil painting with Gesso and Glue.
