Artist's description:

Inspired by Bible story:

Cain spake unto Abel his brother. And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. Then the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? Who answered, I cannot tell. Am I my brother’s keeper?Again he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me, from the earth. Now therefore thou art cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thine hand. When thou shalt till the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength: a vagabond and a runagate shalt thou be in the earth. Then Cain said to the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, thou hast cast me out this day from the earth, and from thy face shall I be hid, and shall be a vagabond, and a runagate in the earth, and whosoever findeth me shall slay me. Then the Lord said unto him, Doubtless whosoever slayeth Cain, he shall be punished seven fold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any man finding him, should kill him. (Gen 4, 8-15)

The painting is available as a print in limited edition of 50. It is printed on archival quality, acid-free, 100% cotton 270 gsm paper with no optical brighteners. Pigments used in the printing process should have a color stability of more than 100 years. The size of the print is 60x60 cm (24"x24") including a 1.5 cm (0.6") white margin.
The print is signed and numbered on the front. The name of the image is in the bottom left corner, with serial number and total number of prints in the edition bottom center and finally signature and year of creation in the bottom right corner. Print is intended to be framed without a mount (that is, there is no space between the frame and the image) and therefore my signature is inside of the print border on the image itself.
