By chance - did you know the beautiful water lily is the national flower of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and was a subject for a series of paintings by Claude Monet the famous French artist in the last century ?
In my painting there is a series of water lilies floating in a tranquil pool with silver birch trees rising from the water. Plus flashes of red undergrowth creating an air of mystery.
