Artist's description:

This is an illustration from one of my earlier stories which is published in "The Ginger Nuts And The Parrot"

The illustration relates to this excerpt from the book (available directly from me):

"Now do you remember Mopprag explaining to us, how, many years ago, some men dug up the underground stream in our garden to repair it?" asked Squimps.

"Mawow! Yes," answered Bullpuss, "she said it was very deep and scary and sometimes rushed along very fast after heavy rain showers."
"She told me she once saw a couple of rats, rowing themselves along, using half grapefruit skins as boats. She may have been pulling my paw, but it gave me the idea for these pith helmets."
"Mopprag said the stream runs under Old Master’s greenhouse," continued Bullpuss, "he built it there because it became the strongest part of the garden and runs upstream through Kaius’ garden and through the gap between the end of our terrace and the nice big house where Katy-Kit-Kat and Nutmeg live."

As can be seen by the measurements, it is offered in a professionally cut ivory coloured mount, see second image.

Each mounted artwork is safely wrapped in thick gauge polythene.

Materials used:

ink lines, inktense pencils
