Bright and beautiful
Lavender blue sky,
Ethereal bushes,
An uplifting Spring meadow,
Pink Ragged Robin and Birds foot trefoil wild flowers,
A discovery in Blandford Forum, North Dorset.

Words and experience.
Original expressive watercolour on Fabriano cold pressed watercolour paper 300gsm 140lb.
I created this original watercolour painting from my observation of the meadow landscape recently.
Wet the paper all over and used my Chinese brushes to create fluid and expressive washes for the sky and background. The bushes I dropped the colour on while the paper was wet. Same with the flowers. I daintily pressed the pigments over the back washes for the shapes, patterns and mark making. The child was definitely in me whilst painting this scene.
Signed on the front and back of watercolour.
Certificate of authenticity.
Handwritten poem about the artwork.
