Borgo sciliano (1994) Original Oil Painting by Antonino Puliafico

Antonino Puliafico’s "Borgo sciliano" is an original oil painting on canvas in which architecture, houses and surrounding landscape are reinterpreted through a contemporary, tactile language.

Through layered colour and expressive mark-making, Puliafico lets colour accumulate, break apart and reconnect across a visibly worked surface.

The composition develops architecture, houses and surrounding landscape, favouring atmosphere, movement and sensory impact over photographic description.

The work balances immediacy and detail, offering both a strong visual impact in the room and a richly textured surface for close viewing.

The artwork is professionally protected for tracked shipping and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
