Staying at Zoar,
This was my view,
Wild and beautiful,
Winter trees,
A carpet of moss and grasses,
So peaceful at sunset to dusk.
Words and feelings of where I stayed on my recent holiday on the Lizard peninsula, South Cornwall. Created at the location.
Original expressive watercolour on cold pressed watercolour paper Fabriano 300gsm 140lb. Wet on wet techniques using a three colour mixture with Chinese brushes.
Inspired by the quietist place I have ever stayed.
