This is a one of a kind cyanotype.
The cyanotype process uses a mixture of iron compounds, which when exposed to UV light and washed in water oxidise to create Prussian Blue images.
I'm fascinated by the contrast and dimensions these prints can make. This cyanotype was made using flowers and fauna foraged from around my local area in Hackney, London.
It represents my ideas about different forms and shapes that we find occurring naturally in the world around us.
Available unframed, image shows suggested framing only.
Handmade paper, ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide, water
