Original artwork description:

This is the fifth of my "Atoll" series of artworks which are all inspired by the shapes and colours of different corals and their cells.

It is predominently cream and is speckled with minute amounts of grey and black, and larger amounts of lime green, and baby pink. The lime green is around the edges and gives the effect of being underlit, and the pink is dotted on the top of the piece.

The sculpture is raised up from the backing on foam board plinths so that shadows can be created with the light shining through.
