Words and expression of a local scene, view point from the bottom of Shaftesbury hill, Guys Marsh, across the Blackmore vale to the Wessex ridgeway.
Original expressive watercolour on cold pressed watercolour paper, Fabriano 300gsm 140lb.
I used Chinese brushes to create with wetting the paper all over with sporadic washes. I painted this scene for a watercolour demonstration for my art student in the Art Garden Studio. It’s always uplifting to paint a Sunset !
