My interpretation of the heavy Rock band Black Sabbath's 1970's album cover of Mapledurham Mill in Berkshire. Overgrown and atmospheric the black-gowned figure of the witch standing to the foreground & can you see the black cat in the undergrowth?
Painted in oil paints on a textured, coloured canvas background to give a similar look to the original finish of the photograph. The original photography film was apparently heated then frozen according to designer Keith Macmillan "Keef" to give the interesting tinted & crackled appearance of the original. I asked his permission to do the painting by the way! :)
Would suit a personal present for a Black Sabbath fan or even a treat for yourself!
