Symbolist/gestural work from a few years ago that I feel comes as a very accurate image in context of the 'Portraits from the precipice' exhibition.
The human - complicated and astray, worn out by the harsh history of hardships we all carry in our collective memory and our very genes. And -in form of the white bird - the nature - ever pure, perfect and complete in its simplicity. Even despite such mistreatment it received from us, humans. And still trustful and reaching out to us - for nature is what we are.
We need to wake up and start caring before the damage goes to deep.
