"Beyond the Fence" is an artwork that explores the subtle boundary between our comfort zone and the unexpressed potential that lies just beyond it.

The painting captures a moment of intimate introspection. In the foreground, standing with her back to us, is the figure of the "Guardian." Dressed in an elegant black dress and a wide-brimmed hat, she represents the definition we give of ourselves: our constructed identity, the habits that define us, and which, at times, become a "gilded cage."

Facing her, in an open field that evokes vastness and possibility, stands a llama. This animal is not merely in its natural habitat; it is the Guardian's mirror. The key element is the meeting of gazes: an intense face-to-face encounter in which both, woman and animal, reflect one another. The llama challenges the Guardian, who represents the obstacle to its freedom, while the Guardian gazes toward the horizon, which represents life in its vastness.

In this silent exchange, the boundary is not an impassable wall, but a threshold. The Guardian and the llama recognize each other. Through the animal's eyes, she sees her own nature reflected back—a nature that is waiting to be recognized, integrated, and liberated. This "face-to-face" becomes a living bridge between "who we are" (within the enclosure of our convictions) and "who we could be" (beyond the fence, in the realm of our true potential).
