Between Light and Silence (2026) Original Oil Painting by Aloosan

Between Light and Silence is a minimalist abstract triptych created with multiple translucent layers of oil paint on linen. The work explores the subtle threshold where light, atmosphere, and perception gradually emerge into awareness.
Soft tonal transitions, delicate textures, and restrained gestures create a sense of calm presence. Rather than depicting a specific landscape, the three panels evoke an inner space of stillness, contemplation, and quiet reflection. As natural light shifts throughout the day, the surface reveals new nuances, allowing the artwork to unfold slowly over time.
Working within the language of contemporary minimalism, I use transparency, layered color, and subtle movement to create paintings that invite a slower and more attentive way of seeing. The three panels function as a continuous visual field, balancing silence, light, and space.
This artwork is painted in oil on unstretched linen and is shipped rolled. The collector only needs to mount the linen onto stretcher bars. The edges are painted and will remain visible if mounted on stretcher bars up to 2 cm deep.
Each panel is signed on both the front and the reverse. Certificate of Authenticity included.
