Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

Another red brick Victorian piece of architecture that I so love. This time a place only five minutes from where I live.

The Venetian Gothic Revival style building can be clearly seen from the main A60 road. Its tower makes the building a local landmark.

It is no longer functioning as a pumping station but was brought back from the brink of dereliction by Healthworks Co. They bought the property and started a £2m conversion in 1997. It is now a restaurant and health club complex.

Materials used:

Acrylic on canvas on cardboard, with a white mount. Lightweight black frame.
