A solitary, sunlit palm tree stands tall in a courtyard against darkening skies...
This painting takes me back to my days as a college student in Southern California. Used to the cool, muted greens and grays of the Pacific Northwest, I was in awe of the vibrant shadows cast by palm trees on the stark white stucco architecture. Looking at it, I can almost feel the warm ocean breezes carrying the scent of orange blossoms and rosemary to my nose.
Sold unframed with sides painted charcoal gray.
