Every since I was a scrawny little farm girl I've loved to paint sunflowers. Their bright sunny faces always bring me joy. I find when I am just painting something to paint for the joy of it, I am painting sunflowers. A little bit of trivia to go along with it. North Dakota is the largest producer of sunflowers. Last year North Dakota farmers produced 1.3 billion pounds of sunflowers. It is no wonder I ended up here in this beautiful state!!
