Original artwork description
Framed 6x6inches acrylic on wood panel. I was staying in Kerry for a few days before attending a wedding and took my sketchbook out when we were walking and exploring both the coastline and the mountains. So this painting is inspired by the Kerry coast - lots of wide beaches and the mountains in the distance. The element of the wild is what struck me most yet again about the Irish landscape. It is painted in warm colours based on a pink/lavender palette.
The piece is on a cradled birchwood panel and then framed in a natural finish wood box frame. It is signed both on the reverse and the front of the artwork.
