Original artwork description:

I often return to the subject of Battersea Power Station and particularly enjoy making paintings of it from across the River Thames. This large painting was made from one of my photographs of the power station before it was converted into apartments and offices.. I have aimed to make an impressionistic atmosphere of this iconic building and heightened the colour of the river to also evoke a Venetian feeling.

Large high quality archival giclee prints are available of this painting, printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper 310gsm - a lovely paper with a fine surface texture. The prints meet the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper and in my opinion are a perfect reproduction of the original, enhanced by the dramatic scale of the print.
