Aztec Motel, Seligman

Some places on Route 66 seem frozen in time, and the Aztec Motel in Seligman is one of them.

I photographed this iconic roadside motel while exploring one of Arizona's most famous stretches of the Mother Road. The classic neon sign, vintage architecture and endless blue sky capture the spirit of an era when family road trips and classic American motels defined the journey as much as the destination.

Seligman is often called the birthplace of the modern Route 66 revival, and walking its streets is like stepping back into the golden age of American travel. I wanted this photograph to preserve that feeling, creating a piece that celebrates nostalgia, freedom and the open road.

Professionally printed from my original photograph, this artwork is ideal for collectors of Route 66 photography, Americana and vintage travel art. Whether displayed in a living room, office or hallway, it brings a timeless piece of Arizona and the romance of the open highway into your space.

Every photograph I create is taken on location during my travels across the American Southwest, capturing authentic places and moments that continue to inspire long after the journey ends.
