This original oil painting draws light from restrained grounds, allowing luminosity to emerge through layered, expressive palette knife marks. A vast, luminous sky unfolds across the upper composition, soft blue dissolving into peach, rose, and yellow, with scattered gold flecks moving through the clouds like captured light. A dark, quiet earth anchors the lower half, still and lush, holding the warmth of the sky in fragmented reflections of teal, green, and gold.

Rather than depicting a specific location, the painting explores landscape as a space shaped by light, weather, and time. Rich textures reveal new details with sustained observation.
