Drop 1068 is made of walnut wood. A tip made of thousand-year-old bog oak, firmly attached to it, strives upwards like a germ. The lid can close the hollowed teardrop or onion-shaped shell. Treated with fine wax, a satin, water-repellent shine appears. The corresponding base, also made of walnut, is fired and sealed with wax. Together they form a sculpture made up of three individual parts. With a total weight of 2.6 kilograms, a height of 47 cm can be achieved, depending on how the drop is placed.
