A special landscape.

Words and feelings of one of my favourite areas in Dorset.
Original watercolour painting on cold pressed watercolour paper Fabriano 300gsm 140lb.
Signed on the front and back of artwork.
Certificate of authenticity.
I used wet on wet washes for the background and then a baseline technique (horizontal line ) for the ethereal woodland treeline, capturing winter. Using a tipping method of control of pigment and water to get this special effect. Three colour technique using French artist’s watercolour paint ( Sennelier). Marsh pools and grasses were. created using a dragging technique with Chinese brushes.
Inspiration of being in this landscape recently towards the end of November 2025.
