I often find inspiration while traveling through West Virginia for hikes and outdoor adventures. This particular painting was inspired by a viewpoint along the roadway as I returned from a hike. It was a warm summer day, and I loved the way the sunlight illuminated the mountain ridges while drifting clouds cast moving shadows on the landscape. The moment felt serene and full of life.
