“Air and Matter” is an abstract sculpture made of plaster that explores the delicate balance between density and empty space. The organic form creates a feeling of lightness and movement, as if the massive matter is modeled by air and time. The open volumes let in light and change the visual perception according to the point of view, turning the space into an active part of the work.
The sculpture brings a sense of silence, contemplation and inner rhythm. Inspired by the natural processes of erosion, stone, wind and water, the form combines primal power and a modern minimalist aesthetic.
