After the rain is an original Impressionist painting by Mary Kemp.
We came home through a cloud burst, as though someone had turned on a tap in the sky.
Then it stopped, as suddenly as it had started, and the evening sun came out. Fields were steaming and bathed in a soft gentle light.
This is one of the paintings of a small series from that journey.
What I have omitted is that we were in our much loved classic car at the time and the roof leaked. We got home soaked to the skin.

Materials: Oil Paints on stretched canvas.
Dimensions : 50 x 50 x 1.7 cm (20" x 20" x 0.75") unframed.
54 x 54 x 4 cm (21.5" x 21.5" x 1.5") framed.
Framing: Framed in a white wooden float frame. (If you would like it unframed please let me know and I will deduct the price of the frame)
Shipping: Securely packaged with all surfaces protected in a cardboard box and sent tracked and insured.
