After the Goldrush (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Annette Wolters

I painted this painting from the beach at Packer Lake. The fall colors are just changing at this 6,000 foot elevation with the temperature warm. I learned that the Stage coach took Goldminers from this area back in the early 1800s to Nevada city where they could trade their gold nuggets into cash. Now this area contains several natural lakes in streams and has access to the Pacific crest Trail through this Sierra‘s.
