A small but emotionally intense portrait from my ongoing “100 Portraits” series.

The figure is captured in a raw, almost cinematic moment — somewhere between a scream, laughter, panic, or release. I wanted the expression to remain open and unresolved, allowing the viewer to project their own emotion into it.

The contrast between the intimate scale and the dramatic expression creates a feeling similar to a frozen film still or a memory caught mid-motion.

The painting is presented in a deep hand-finished wooden frame painted by the artist. The frame is an essential part of the work, turning the piece into a small theatrical object rather than simply a portrait.
