When I created this painting, I wanted to evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity.
Just look at this fantastic huge Nautilus, it is the result of a long evolution, perhaps even extraterrestrial.
Its silvery shell with black stripes seems metallic, as if it were a creation of an unearthly civilization. But the red and white “head” of the nautilus with long soft tentacles hints at its authenticity, that it is a living creature.
And the small figures of divers around it emphasize its gigantic size, showing you the true scale in the painting, despite its small size. The divers seem to be studying this amazing organism, and we are not just spectators, but also participants in this fantastic journey.
The purpose of which is to explore the unknown, the limits of human knowledge and the amazing diversity of life.
It reflects on time, change and the infinity of evolution.
That's why I combined the real underwater world, science fiction and surrealism in this painting, because it will encourage you to plunge into your own world of fantasy and reflection, creating an unforgettable image that will remain in your memory for a long time.
