SUNFLOWERS AND RED ROSES is a semi abstract contemporary impressionist textural impasto palette knife floral oil painting ... a bouquet of vibrant sunflowers and red roses to remind me of summer. I painted these joyful flowers into an abstract manner in impasto technique with bold, explosive palette knife strokes that create those almost sculptural textures of oil paint that I love so much.

This palette knife oil painting is part of my ongoing series ''Flowers on round table''. I started this series of floral still life paintings years ago and it is a recurrent theme for me over the time.
