Abraham had been commanded by God to slay and present his son Isaac as a sacrifice, but God was testing his faith: an angel stopped him at the last moment.
I wanted to portray the emotion that each of them might have been feeling - Abraham grieving, and Isaac fearful of what might be about to happen.
