Original artwork description
The inspiration for this impressionistic oil painting came while reflecting on photographs I captured during a visit to see my son in Morrison, Colorado. Just a few miles from his home lies a beautiful park called Lair O’ the Bear, where Bear Creek — teeming with rainbow trout — winds through the landscape. I have fished for trout, painted on location, and hiked many of its trails, and those memories continue to shape my artistic vision.
Vibrant hues of orange, yellow, red, purple, and green bring this autumn aspen forest to life, drawn from an original oil painting by Daniel Fishback. The artwork is presented in a custom black frame with warm undertones and a gold fillet, enhancing the richness of the scene.
