A Quiet Place (2023) Collagraphs by Jo Biggadike

A hand printed Collagraph.

It is only when we are quiet that we begin to see.

Inspired by my walks in the woodland close to where I live. It is a place of calm. Whilst quietly drawing, I often get glimpses of the local birds, as they are unaware of my presence.

Printed on 300gsm Somerset printing paper using oil based inks.

Image size 36cm x 40cm.

Each print is part of a limited edition of 20 and is signed and numbered. They are all printed on my etching press, therefore each print is unique.

Collagraph is a similar technique to etching but uses nontoxic methods and natural materials to create the printing plate. I enjoy the rich textures and atmosphere you can create within Collagraph. The individual inking for each print creates unique variations within each edition.

PLEASE NOTE: mount and frame not included.

This print will be rolled in acid free tissue paper and packaged in a strong cardboard tube for delivery.
