A June Bouquet (2023) Original Oil Painting by Gray Jacobik

The pink, white and magenta peonies are from my garden. I’m flooded with a sense of celebration during those few short weeks in June when peonies are in bloom, and I wanted to capture that sense. I combined this abundant bouquet with a conch shell, another small shell, and a sugar bowl. The shells and the bowl echo the colors in the flowers, and this cream white art deco vase struck me as perfectly complimentary. Painted in oil on ACM (aluminum composite material—which is extremely durable yet light), this work is signed on the back (my insignia in the lower right corner). It is framed and ready to hang. The inside dimensions are 18x18 inches, outside, 23x23 (45.75x45.75 cm and 58.42x58.42 cm respectively). This work is sealed in Gamvar satin varnish for uniformity and protection, colorfast for 500 years, and ships with a Certificate of Authenticity.
